OH MY GOD, I love The Vaccines.

I've been listening to 'What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?' recently and I've discovered that I have a love for it that I haven't experienced since 'Would It Kill You?' by Hellogoodbye.
The songs are short and snappy, a quality that I appreciate because I have a short attention span and get bored easily; Justin Young's voice is really easy to listen to, as well as sing along with; and it has a simplicity to it that can only suggest that the band really care about what they're doing. Seriously, listen to it now - it's incredible.

In other news, I got my ticket to Reading festival!
Do you know why that's awesome? Because The Vaccines are playing there, WHEY! Not only them, but also The Strokes, Noah & The Whale and Panic! At The Disco. Y'know, I love seeing my 13-year-old self fuse with my current self, to become the super-weemo-indie-music-snob I really am. But anyway, I'll probably mention that more nearer the time.

And a final piece of information, I finished reading the last book in 'The Hunger Games' trilogy yesterday. It's  called 'Mockingjay', and there's a reason why it's not a big deal in Britain: it's a bit shit really. I mean, I read 'The Hunger Games' and really enjoyed it, then I read 'Catching Fire' and it wasn't bad, but then I started reading 'Mockingjay' and could only utter the word 'meh' the whole time. Suzanne Collins isn't a literary genius by any stretch of the imagination, and I found that the plot was what interested me, not the actual book. In all honesty, I could have read the synopsis on wikipedia and got the same thrill out of it. Plus, apparently a film is being made from it, so I can only hope it doesn't pollute our planet like 'Twilight' did. It disgusts me that Earth could literally be in flames and people would still be more interested in discussing Edward-Bella-Jacob love triangle. But whatever. Rant over.

I'll post more frequently than I have been recently, I promise.
BYE, GUYS.
